Dear Friends,

Holy Week begins this Sunday with our Palm Sunday celebrations at 9:30am. We will be starting our service outside this week, on the roadside, beside the large cross which we will be putting up again this year for this week. We will be tying ribbons on to the cross as symbols of our prayers to God. We will then process into the church and join the congregation for the rest of our service. Wild Church is meeting from 3pm in the afternoon, with lots of fun activities planned. Looking ahead and into Holy Week, on Wednesday morning, we will be in the church for Morning Prayer at 9am, followed by coffee in the Cabin. On Maundy Thursday at 6pm, we will be holding a quiet, contemplative Communion service, with hand washing, to commemorate the last supper. On Good Friday, the church will be open from 10am to 5pm with a series of prayer stations for private prayer and reflection, and also on Holy Saturday from 10am to 12noon. As we walk through Holy Week together, let us spend time considering Jesus’s call and challenge to learn to love others as he loves us: through the way of the cross. Love one another. No exceptions.

I hope you have a good weekend.

God Bless,
Clare
