Dear Friends,
I have had a great week getting out and about on foot, getting to know the area and stopping to meet a good number of parishioners and residents of each village en route. What a blessing to have warm spring sunshine! I am very much looking forward to enjoying the nice spring months ahead, with longer and, hopefully, warmer, days. I have also enjoyed school visits to both Dry Drayton and Caldecote primary schools this week to think about the Easter story with the children, and also to speak about prayer and God with the Red Class in Caldecote.

9:30am Holy Communion led by Revd Clare. We will be starting the service at the foot of our Holy Week Cross, which will once again be placed on the main road, at the bottom of the church. Please bring ribbons to tie to it as a prayer offering. We will then process into the church during our first hymn. All welcome.
3pm Wild Church. A fun service for families and children. All welcome.

6pm Maundy Thursday Holy Communion, led by Revd Clare. All welcome.
Friday 7 April
On Good Friday the church will be open from 10 to 5pm with a series of prayer stations for private prayer and reflection.

CELEBRATE THE CORONATION
with a special COME AND SING event
at Dry Drayton Parish Church

We will be having a sing through (with ‘light-touch’ rehearsal) of two classics of the Coronation repertoire:
Handel: Zadok the Priest
Parry: I was glad
as well as a new work specially composed for the coronation of King Charles, by Joanna Forbes l’Estrange
The session will be led by Dry Draytoner Edward Wickham – Director of Music at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. Edward is experienced leading groups of all abilities and is happy to welcome to this event singers of all abilities. See poster below!
