Good Friday
I invite you to take some time to walk around the story trail of art and prayer stations in the cabin windows. Meditate and pray using the Scripture, prayers and reflections on the Gustave Dore prints. Come more than once over the next few day – there is lots to take in and they will be there until Saturday.
Also for Good Friday at Home, we have a series of meditations written by Revd Tricia Troughton, a minister who is part of the Church in Toft.
Holy Saturday
Holy Saturday is a quiet day, a waiting day. The church will be open all day and the art and prayer stations will remain in the cabin windows for most of the day.
Easter Day
On Sunday, Easter Day, we will hold a communion service in-person in the church at 9.30am which I will be leading. Please book in with Clare cebigg53@gmail.com so that we know in advance how full we will be.
Also on Easter Day, at 9.30am and at a time to suit you, there will be a Worship at Home shared audio service available from www.lordsbridge.org with Revd David Newton and me (or search “Lordsbridge” on Spotify, Amazon Music or Apple podcasts).
At 11am there will be a service of Easter Worship on Zoom with Sue Nelms (LLM) and me (Zoom link:https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89870702475;
Finally, we have the Worship at Home print version and Pic n Mix for families and the young at heart.
Easter trail
Don’t forget the Easter trail for families (grandparents and grandchildren too) around the village, put together by the churches and following the Easter story. More details will be circulated separately. It starts today and will run over the weekend.
