Here are the locally produced resources for Worship at Home this Sunday, 10 May, the fifth Sunday of the Easter season. Thank you to those who have contributed this week.
This Sunday, in the post-Easter series on incidents in the early church in the book of Acts, we hear the story of the martyrdom of Stephen. And then, the gospel reading, we join the disciples who are listening to some of Jesus’ last teaching before his death and resurrection in which he assures them: “I am the way…”
- A Worship at Home service sheet with prayers for the Easter season from me. Please note that we will use this one again on all the Sundays up to Ascension Day.
- Bible readings and reflection, this week from Revd Paul Garnell, Lordsbridge Team Curate.
- Pic N Mix Family activities from Laura Tuckwell who is responsible for the children’s work at Haslingfield.
- Prayers for others and ourselves (intercessions) written for Hardwick by Clare Bigg
As last week, Nagi, a teenager who lives in Caldecote and plays the organ in several of the Lordsbridge churches, has offered us music to sing to for two hymns this Sunday:
Be Still for the presence of the Lord
Hills of the north rejoice
There are hymn words for these here.
