We continue exploring the stories of Easter, this Sunday our story is ‘the Road to Emmaus’.
Here you can download prayers, a reflection and family activities all for this Sunday, 26 April, the 3rd Sunday of Easter. These have been created locally by members of the Lordsbridge Team of Churches in 11 villages west of Cambridge:
- Worship at Home – Easter Season 2020, service sheet for the Easter season from Canon Alison Myers, Team Rector & lead minister for Hardwick and Dry Drayton. Please note, this is the same as last week and we will use this one again on all the Sundays up to Ascension Day.
- Bible readings and Reflection – 26 April 2020, this week from Jennie Tombs, licensed lay minister and part of the ministry team in Harlton. Jennie is also a member of the Lordsbridge Team Chapter.
- Pick n Mix Family Activities – 26th April 2020, from Laura Tuckwell at Haslingfield.
- Prayers for others, Hwk – 26 April, prayers for ourselves and others (intercessions) written locally by Anne Jones for Hardwick.
- Prayers for others, DD – 26 April, prayers for ourselves and others (intercessions) written locally by Sue Wyatt for Dry Drayton.
- For those of missing hymns, here are links to a couple of RSCM’s Easter ‘hymns of the day’ – Now the green blade riseth and All heaven declares
- Colouring, ‘Thinking of you’ – 26 April 2020, is for those who are finding colouring calming at the moment, a nice idea from Illustrated Ministries.
I’d love to hear which of these is working well for you, and what other things are nourishing you and your faith whilst at home. It will help us to know where to direct our time and energies. Contact me via alisonmyers@lordsbridge.org or 01954 212815.
