All primary aged children linked to Sunday Club, to the Summer Afternoons cafe, the Family Fun Mornings or just living in Hardwick are warmly invited to take part in a “scratch” no-rehearsal nativity story.
This is a chance for your child to join Mary and Joseph, and to be the donkey, angel, shepherd or king they always wanted to be!
No lines to learn. Come in costume or make use of the tea-towels, tinsel or crowns provided. No stress – just come and have some fun! Adults welcome to come in nativity costume too!
9.15am – show up at St Mary’s church so that we can see who we have and to add any costume bits needed.
9.30am or thereabouts – we start to tell the story together and sing a few carols, and there will be something to make and think about. (Adults are needed for carol singing, and for a reflective moment or two.)
10.30am (or possibly before) – refreshments for all in the portacabin.
If you and/or your child would like to take part you can email Alison in advance indicating which role they would like to play alisonmyers@lordsbridge.org otherwise feel free to just come along.
Please note: This is a traditional nativity play, where anything can (and probably will) go wrong!
