Auction of Promises
On November 16th we held an Auction of Promises where we raised £4,500. This would not have happened without our very talented auctioneer, David Palmer, the generosity of the congregation, friends of St Mary’s Church and local businesses. Please support the following local businesses who are constantly being asked to support local events:

Christmas Tree Festival 2018
The church looked wonderful! All the trees were themed on a carol or Christmas song, and the contributors were ingenious and inventive. As part of the festival, our young people designed and made an altar frontal based on ‘It Was on a Starry Night’. Home-made cakes were enjoyed as well. We raised £322.40 for the Fabric Fund, and made a donation of £282.70 to Winter Comfort. Thank you to everyone who came, all the tree designers, cake makers and our sponsors: Madingley Mulch, Arrington Garden Centre and the Blue Lion.
