Our main Sunday morning service is at 9:30 am.
On the first, third and fourth Sundays of the month we hold a service at St Mary’s to celebrate Holy Communion, using the contemporary words of Anglican Common Worship. Sunday Club meets in the portacabin alongside the service on these Sundays.
On the second Sunday of the month, from 9.30am to 10.20am, we hold a more informal service suitable for all ages. With an activity, a story, prayers and songs, it is fun and interactive, with one or two reflective moments.
When there is a fifth Sunday in the month, we join with neighbouring villages for a joint service – usually something a little different – and we take it in turns to host the service.
For those who appreciate a more traditional service, sung evensong from the Book of Common Prayer is held on the first Sunday evening of every month (except January) at St Peter and St Paul’s Dry Drayton starting at 6.30pm.
In contrast, Sacred Space is a contemporary and contemplative gathering that takes place four times a year on a Sunday evening, usually from 7.30 to 8.30pm. Held at the church in Dry Drayton, it is planned by a team from the Lordsbridge Team Churches (including Hardwick) for anyone who would like to come.
Details of each month’s services are posted on the church noticeboard near the road or in the church porch and are in the Hardwick Happenings local magazine.
