Year 1 and 2 have been learning about Celebrations. So they came to church to celebrate a pretend wedding this week. Everyone had a role from photographer and bell-ringers to the traditional bridal party and guests. The ‘bride’ and her ‘father’ 
rode to church in an open topped car. The assistant vicar helped them light candles to symbolise their ‘marriage’. And we were joined by parents and friends to help throw confetti afterwards.
