Hardwick Advent Windows
An opportunity for members of the village to engage creatively in a variety of ways to mark the season of Advent together around the Christmas story. Each week add something to your front window – 5th angels, 12th candy canes, 19th stars, 24th candles. Find more things to do in Advent on the Christmas card from the churches delivered to every house in Hardwick and on the Facebook page, ‘Hardwick Advent Windows’.
C of E’s Comfort and Joy app
The C of E’s free app provides weekly written and audio reflections through Advent, then daily from Christmas Day to 2nd January. Download fromwww.churchofengland.org/ComfortAndJoy

Christmas ‘9 days, 9 lessons, 9 carols’, video reflections for 17th to 25th.
We can’t hold our usual carol service this year, so in the days leading up to Christmas, take a few minutes each day for a short, video reflection with a Christmas carol to sing at home. Via our www.stmaryshardwick.org, our Facebook group and church e-mailing list. #LightInTheDarkness
Christmas Candlelight Vigil with carols– 4pm, Sun 20th
Come to St Mary’s for a short outdoor service of readings, prayers and carol singing because Christmas is different this year. Standing only, between the church and cabin. Bring a torch and a candle lantern (or tealight in a jam jar). #LightInTheDarkness
