Several hundred adults and children gathered for the united area wide service last Sunday at Comberton Leisure. Here are some pictures and a short report.
Jacob (13) writes: “Alison Myers, vicar on the Lordsbridge team, warmly welcomed everyone to the service and then started the service off with some opening words.
GenR8 creatively took on the setting the scene, showing that people need to humble themselves to God and to share his love to others. This led nicely on to the reflections led by Chris Duffett who explored the point of humbling ourselves to God in more depth and detail. The band (including a choir) led everyone in a great selection of hymns and christian songs including the well known Amazing Grace.
Afterwards the prayers were led by Alison and the band. The service was nicely ended by Alison with some closing words leading everyone out into the week.”
