Enjoy family activities and relax over tea and cake. Now in its second year, and open to anyone. Just turn up. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, between Tuesday 7 and Thursday 30 August, 2-4pm.
We are looking for volunteers for the team, to make cakes, help with refreshments etc. Are you interested in getting involved in this fun event? If so, please read this message from Vicki: ‘I am looking forward to our Summer Afternoons @ St Mary’s now that we are getting towards the end of term. It doesn’t seem as if a year has passed already. Hopefully we’ve had most of the rain over the past few months and August will be sunnier than last year. This year we have a lovely poster which Kathma designed which I will put on the lych gate nearer the time.
‘Last year worked really well; it was a relaxing time to chat over tea and cake, as well as enjoy some fun family activities. Such happy memories…..I hope to see as many of you as possible this August and I have attached this year’s rota to see if you are able to help in any way. The event will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon in August, beginning Tuesday 7th and ending Thursday 30th and will be between 2pm and 4pm.
‘I am hoping to be there every afternoon and so is Peter. He has some wonderful family activities in mind for this year which I am looking forward to.
